Virucidal effect of Fumispore HA / Fumagri HA

Fumagri HA and Fumspore HA have passed virucidal test standard EN17272 giving the products an ever broader use in Farm and Food applications.

Fumagri HA and Fumispore HA, previously tested for bactericidal, yeasticidal and fungicidal efficacy, are now also available for virucidal applications. 


The virucidal test was performed according to EN 17272 at 20°C with 15 hours contact time and an application dose of 1.2g/m3. The tests were performed fort the following parameters and viruses: 


 

Tests conducted under low soiling conditions (3 g/l BSA):

  • Porcine parvovirus (PPV)
  • Bovine typ 1 Enterovirus (ECBO)
  • Human coronavirus 229E
  • Staphylococcus aureus (bactericidal / distribution test)

 

Tests conducted under clean conditions (0.3 g/l BSA):

  • Adenovirus typ 5
  • Murine norovirus
  • Human coronavirus 229E
  • Staphylococcus aureus (bactericidal / distribution test)

 


The products have previously shown effect against a broad range of bacteria and fungus such as Salmonella, Listeria and Aspergillus. The method is dry and non-corrosive on steel and aluminium giving a uniform diffusion of the active substance every treatment. 


The products are suitable for hatcheries, feed silos, sheds and productions areas.
